Ways to be involved
Whilst donations are always appreciated, it is not the only way you can help enhance healthcare in Taranaki. We have many partnerships and ways for you or your business to be involved.
Donation
Whether it is a one-off donation or a regular monthly contribution, you can donate to any of our campaigns to bring the best healthcare to Taranaki. 100% of all donations are spent on healthcare project for the region.
Volunteer
Whether it is a one-off donation or a regular monthly contribution, you can donate to any of our campaigns to bring the best healthcare to Taranaki. 100% of all donations are spent on healthcare project for the region. We have regular opportunities for volunteers to get involved in projects. This could be some gardening at Taranaki Base Hospital or Hāwera Hospital, or maybe helping out at an event. Whether you are young or old, we will make sure you have a fund day volunteering with us.
Taranaki Health Fund
The Taranaki Health Fund provides an opportunity for individuals or families to select an area of healthcare to which they would like to financially contribute as part of your long-term legacy. The funds invested are pooled together and grown. That particular sub-fund can be drawn on by the specific department when a need aligns with the purpose of the Fund.
Room to Dream
We have over 90 rooms in the New East Wing Building that are able to be sponsored at varying budgets.. Each room sponsored will have an A4 plaque acknowledging the business or family that has gifted that room, as well as being given recognition as Foundation supporters.
Shining Peak - 5% Project
The amazing guys at Shining Peak have been incredibly supportive of Taranaki Health Foundation. Every month 5% of their beer revenues are donated to a different local Taranaki organisation. Not profits… revenues, that’s approximately 30 to 50% of the venue’s profit. We have regularly been their nominated charity. Check out who this month recipient is by clicking below.
Friends & Family
Twice a year we run an exclusive offer with Noel Leeming, offering our friends and families amazing discounts on thousands of products. When these deals are on Noel Leeming will donate 2.5% of all sales back to Taranaki Health Foundation. Keep an eye out for our amazing deals.
Kora
Get fuel discounts and support Taranaki Health Foundation. We have teamed up with those awesome folks at Kora, a locally owned and operated company, that provides fuel cards for everyday Kiwis. Bartercard has been supporting kiwi businesses for over 30 years. And now they are supporting Taranaki Health Foundation. If you are a Bartercard member you can donate Bartcard dollars to Taranaki Heath Foundation or donate your sevrcices.
